Facilites - 4 new (2004) all weather macadam courts. 3 are floodlit (£5 /hr)
Social Tennis Night - Tuesdays 6:30pm (cost £1 for balls)
Competitions - annual knock-out competition and internal leagues. Also an annual "Duffers"
(squash players !) competition.
Teams - Several Mens and Ladies teams compete in the Derbyshire
and Burton Leagues. See noticeboard for details. New team members always welcome.
Court Bookings - Booking sheets are posted on the club notice board.
Coaching
The club tennis coach, Alison Smith, is a former professional player - having played at Wimbledon in 1994 - and
a qualified LTA CCA Performance level coach.
Alison runs an all year round schedule of group coaching and match play opportunities for all abilities and ages
3-18 years. The club is mini-tennis accreditated. All course students receive fleeces and T shirts.
Private coaching is also available for any member of the club.
